I SAID don't put them AWAY!

Mom came upstairs last night and put my toys
away. She ran the vacuum and cleaned upstairs. I left. I don't like the vacuum. I'd rather spend time with that... Boy that be around when the vacuum is on. I came upstairs and all my toys were back in the toybox! This morning I put them back the way they were. See?

Toys!

I have a lot of toys. I like catnip the best.
I used to like mousies, but I prefer catnip now. The Boy has toys, too. He likes really stupid things, like the tags that Mom cuts out of her clothes or pipecleaners. I like real toys. Toys that smell good.
This is our upstairs toybox. It's mostly my toys, but The Boy has toys in there, too. I don't like the toybox. I don't like having my toys put away. What if I need them?
Sometimes, Mom puts my toys away. This is what I do. I get the toys out one by one and arrange them. Then I announce it really, really loud.

See? All nice and neat. Why put the toys in the box when they can be nice and neat on the floor? I don't have to get them out of the box, and there's a toy on my way to anywhere.

Here is me with some toys.

OOOOoo! Skritches NOW!

You have no idea what this is like. Imagine it's dry and you're in the house all day. Now imagine you can't scratch your own belly. I don't know what I have to do for skritches around here, but there are just never enough!
All of the bath towelettes that she rubbed all over me dried out, so at least I don't have to put up with THAT. And she started getting really delicious treats from the store.
But I want skritches. Lots and lots of skritches. I want Mom to follow me around and just give me skritches. When she's not brushing me.
